Alexis rivkinChapter presidentWhat’s up ladies! My name is Alexis Rivkin and I am honored to be the new President of Gamma Phi Beta - Beta Lambda Chapter. As President I oversee all of the executive board, work closely with San Diego State and the other Greek councils, and keep in close to contact with our chapter advisor. However, the most rewarding part of my role is making sure each member feels loved and at home here at Gamma Phi. I am so excited for this upcoming year and cannot want to give back to this chapter that has given me so much. I am born and raised right here in sunny San Diego and have been in love with this city and it’s Mexican food all my life which is why I chose to stay and attend SDSU. Coming here and pursuing a degree in Psychology, as well as joining Gamma Phi have single handedly been the two best decisions I have ever made. Gamma Phi has provided me with some of the best friends, memories, and opportunities I could have ever asked for and truly made my experience at SDSU what it is today! I feel so honored to be apart of this special exec board and I cant wait to see what’s to come!

Katie petersonFinancial Vice PresidentHi beautiful ladies! My name is Katie Peterson and I am so excited to be the new Financial Vice President of Gamma Phi Beta. As the Financial Vice President I am responsible for all things finance including collecting dues and a resource for all the ladies in our chapter. I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area where I spent most of my life growing up playing all kinds of sports. Here at SDSU I am a Kinesiology major with a minor in the Weber Honors College and a dream to continue on obtain my Doctorate in physical therapy. Choosing to attend SDSU and join Gamma Phi Beta are two of the best decisions I’ve made in my life and I cannot wait to continue to grow the relationships I have already made in this chapter. Gamma Phi Beta is my home here in San Diego and I could never imagine myself anywhere else. The best part about being in Gamma Phi Beta is the diversity of the women in our chapter and the inclusivity our chapter provides to so many different women. Molly jonesMembership Vice presidentHi everyone! My name is Molly Jones and I’m the Membership Vice President. As MVP, it’s my job to make our senior’s last few months at SDSU memorable ones with fun events like a family brunch and senior retreat. I also am in charge of running our big formal recruitment in the fall. I carefully plan each day and make sure everything runs smoothly with the help of my Assistant MVP. As a San Diego native, I decided I wasn’t quite ready to leave sunshine and beaches just yet. I chose to pursue a degree in Kinesiology at SDSU and also recently added a minor in Personality and Social Psychology. I’m hoping it’ll lead me to my goal of becoming a physical therapist. I’ve loved my time here and in GPhi so far and have made some lifelong friends in these girls. I’m beyond excited to serve on this executive board and make this year a great one!

byrnn blatnickEducation Vice PresidentHey girlies! My name is Brynn Blatnick and I have the honor of serving as this years Education Vice President. Some of my responsibilities include: supporting personal relationships through sisterhood, ensuring that our chapter is in good academic standing, and overseeing the Fidelity education for the whole chapter. One of my favorite parts of the job is organizing multiple sisterhood events and sisterhood retreats; providing more opportunities to bond. I also oversee many positions within the chapter such as scholarship chairwoman, ritual chairwoman, loyalty circle, new member educator, PACE chairwoman, and the REAL wellness chairwoman. Each of these roles help to create the unmatched love, kindness, and genuine connections found within Gamma Phi Beta’s walls. I was born and raised in Rocklin, California and found the change of scenery I was looking for at SDSU. While south, I am pursuing a degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. Choosing a college was a difficult decision, however, after joining Gamma Phi Beta and meeting my life-long best friends, I have no doubt I made the right choice. I feel beyond lucky to be able to serve on this executive board with the most empowering women I have ever met. I’m beyond excited to see where this year takes us.
